We’re huge fans of bananas around here. We buy several bunches a week. We all like them and Mr. Serious has eaten one daily since he was one.
This morning I went to hang a bunch of bananas onto the banana tree and, well…
The bananas just all fell off the stems. I’m not sure that’s ever happened to me before. I put them in a green bag; I’m not sure what else could possibly save them. I’d hate to forfeit the whole bunch, but maybe this is the Universe’s way of telling me some banana bread needs to be baking in my oven.
This post was inspired by Color Splash Sunday @ Artistically Amy. It’s late, but fits in well with their last theme, How People Enjoy Food.

Wow, cool photo! You did a great job processing this. It’s sad that all your bananas fell off their stems, but it did make a great photo.
Also, I added your link in! I can always add it after it closes.

Thank you Amy!
So sad about your bananas – but at least you got a good shot out of it! Time to go to the market!

Thanks Wendy. Thankfully bananas are cheap and it’s not like they are going to go to waste. I’ll see this morning how the green bag treated them after a day and if it’s not so well, we’ll be making banana bread!
This is way too cool! I love the contrast:)

Thank you so much! I’m glad I decided to take the camera out and shoot! Once I saw it SOOC, I knew it would be perfect for selective color.

Wow, that has ever happened to me either. For future reference bananas make super easy baby safe ice cream!
