This week’s DPS Forum Assignment is “Low Angle“. This is a great one for me since I’m almost always on the ground taking photos. With a 50mm, you kind of have to get right in front of your subject.
I took these photos in the play room the other day with the theme in mind. No, I don’t think they’re my best work at all and not even very original. The important thing is that I’m actually working toward assignments again. I’ve been concentrating so much on photo editing (and obviously still am based on the appearance of these photos) that I haven’t put much into photography and that’s gotta stop if I want to end up with any photos I can be proud of. The assignment doesn’t end until 6/23, so I’m hoping to get some more Low Angle shots in before then.
I really wanted to participate in Creativity Boot Camp, but I just couldn’t ever get it together. She’s keeping the prompts up for another month, so I hope to start soon and follow along at my own pace.
In site related news, please be sure to take a look at my Be Inspired page. It’s a collection of photographic prompts (memes) along with current and previous photography assignments. If I’m missing any weekly prompts, please let me know! I want it to be as comprehensive of a list as possible!
Also, congratulations to Lauren for winning the Be Inspired eBook Giveaway! She was the only entrant, unfortunately (for everyone but her!) Enjoy your eBook Lauren!

This one of Bert is just special to me. Perhaps because I still sleep with a teddy bear (shhh) and when I see photos of my childhood toys I feel very comforted. I love the way the color is.
