Dinner Time [123/365]

Reading time: 2 – 2 minutes

Dinner was incredible. Mark made a tasty marinade for some flank steaks and cooked that in the oven along with bacon wrapped fillets. For sides we had baked potatoes and a vegetable medley with snap peas, asparagus, carrots, red pepper and onion in a citrus glaze. The vegetable side was delicious! It was one of those frozen microwavable sides. We like those a lot because they’re tasty and so very easy to prepare!

Elias loved his potato, which was no surprise. He ate some of his vegetables, but not too much. Shockingly, he actually ate a portion of the flank steak! He’s usually not much of a meat eater, so it’s nice when he fills up on protein at meal time.

Noah was cranky throughout much of dinner. I think he was just tired. He ate some of everything, but wasn’t his usual ravenous self. He’s starting to use a sippy cup now, though he still isn’t very skilled at it. We need to make a sippy cup available to him more often so he gets used to it. Elias stopped using bottles at around 13 months and I’d like to transition Noah to cups and sippies only around that time also.
