I’ve been so incredibly busy this week that I haven’t had time for anything more than uninspired snapshots. I feel lucky I have my kids because at least one day I’ll look back on this week’s pictures and be thankful I captured those precious moments.
I feel like the first few weeks of the month I was making a lot of progress and producing some good photos both technically and creatively. I guess this week shows me what happens when I literally have NO TIME to shoot. I can barely even pick up the camera, so when I do, it’s nothing more than quick shots I have no time to think about. Maybe over time I’ll be able to produce better results without having to spend several minutes thinking about and setting up each shot.

Its a lot better than nothing
And it really does shed the light..(-: a little bit more on your hectic life style…lol
Have you considered sitting down when you have time and writing down a list of quick-easy around the house shots to pull out for days like this?
I currently have three decent ideas that can be pulled off in about 5 minutes from home. Time to replenish the list!
bulliver I am going to need to search on the internet to steal other people’s ideas I think. Part of the problem is the really poor lighting in here – if I don’t take pictures in here during the day, they’re going to look ultra crappy as I refuse to use my on-camera flash in most situations. We’re moving soon… hopefully that will change.
Nothing wrong with stealing ideas…trust me…that’s how it works
I googled what to take a picture of and I made a list of about 25 things that would be quick.
I like this picture.
You should have said you were at a fabulous concert. LOL…I like the picture.
Don’t sweat it. I’ve been beating myself up over this as well and someone said it well on one of my pics:
"Stick with it….everyday there’s a different challenge, something to learn. Sometimes the challenge is time, sometimes lighting, sometimes subject. All to be learned from. "
Keep on keepin’ on.
you know what though lynda…thats ok its like writing sometimes you cant write or dont have time so you just write a page of the same word over and over…as long as you write,,,sometimes with photography you just need to take out the camera and shoot a set, just to shoot, it will come back to you good luck hun
