Sooner than later?

Last night after we got home from the grocery store, I was experiencing some uncomfortable contractions. After sitting down to eat dinner and drinking lots of water, they stopped, but Braxton-Hicks contractions continued through the rest of the night.

To say it freaked me out a bit is an understatement. I really don’t feel ready for Noah to arrive. I’m pretty sure I felt the same way with Elias and then all my other daily stresses disappeared once he got here and my focus was solely on him. When pregnant with Elias, I was comforted by the fact that first pregnancies usually go over 40 weeks and at 37 weeks I absolutely didn’t even foster a thought that he might be coming before then.

It can pretty much happen at any time now though and that’s a little scary.
