Night #3

It’s Elias’ 3rd night in his toddler bed and he had no problems at all going to sleep in the bed. Elias’ entire life I’ve been holding my breath, waiting for the inevitable time to come when some change in his sleep routine renders him a terrible sleeper who wakes at all hours of the night. I think it might be finally safe to say that he is a good sleeper and always has been. I really don’t see this changing, ever.

However, now I’m convinced that Noah is going to be a terrible sleeper and the exact opposite of Elias in that regard. While it will be interesting to see how the boys differ, I really, really hope I am blessed with another great sleeper. I love to sleep and Mark absolutely requires it to even partially function so hopefully it’s in our genes.

ETA: Oh, and duh.. obviously I know how newborn sleeping patterns go, so it’s not like I’ll be expecting Noah to sleep like Elias is currently sleeping right from the get-go.
