Progress in the Study

Mark and I cleaned out most of the study yesterday. There was a lot of stuff in there to give away and some stuff to throw away. So much stuff! We got rid of one TV, two DVD players, a VCR, two monitors, a baby bath (we never used it with Elias and I doubt we’d use it with another baby) and a box of yarn.

It took about two hours total. We still need to get rid of the chair and desk in there. Hopefully the chair can go this weekend. The desk will probably take longer because we need to find something to replace it where we can store all the stuff currently in and on it.

We were able to move the pack n’ play in there which really opens up the bedroom which is pretty big to begin with. My mom is coming over this weekend and I really want to have the changing table assembled by then. She bought us this changing table when Elias was a few weeks old and our apartment has been too much of a mess to have any place to put it. I feel so ungrateful every time she comes over and still sees us using the pack n’ play as a changing table.

We still have a little more work to do in the bedroom before it’s completely baby-proof, but it’s turning out to be an excellent play area for Elias.
