My baby is four months old today!
I really wanted to try putting Elias down for the evening like we did Wednesday night, especially since it was the premier of Lost. I was so beat from getting up at 5am though, that when Elias fell asleep while I was nursing him on the loveseat, I started nodding off as well. So we just went to bed together around 8pm.
Maybe tonight will go differently.
I washed my hair this morning and I’m waiting for it to dry now to see what it will look like curly. I can already tell the cut isn’t really best suited for curly hair, but it has to look better than when it was long. Bad haircuts don’t really bother me so much since my hair grows quickly when it’s this short. If it doesn’t look too good now, I can continue straightening it for work and in a few weeks, I should be able to wear it curly again.
So I don’t know if I ever said this, but Elias’ daycare doesn’t do cloth diapers. He’s in disposable while he’s there. His butt is doing pretty well in disposables. Luckily, we haven’t had to deal with any sort of diaper rash yet (he just has rashes pretty much everywhere else). Anyway, because of this, on days I work from home I can wash ALL his diapers. I’m washing a load right now and when they’re done, I’m going to try to finally get a shot of my current stash. I can’t BELIEVE how many diapers we have. There’s over $100 worth of diapers in the closet he’s outgrown. I’m so shitty about getting things out in the mail that I haven’t posted them for sale yet.
I hope the doctor will be able to tell me something about Elias’ rashes. He’s always had dry skin and has had rashes on his face, arms and legs for the past couple of months. I’m fairly sure it’s eczema. Recently, one of the bad rashes on his cheek started to ooze a little bit. It’s like it sweats. He doesn’t seem too bothered by it, though maybe that’s why he scratches at his face so violently when he’s tired.
Anyway, I guess I should get some work done today. Hope y’all have a good Friday!
