I can’t believe I actually LIKE Jack now.

I am a Kate and Sawyer shipper; I believe under no circumstance should Kate and Jack ever be together romantically.

Last night’s episode just felt wrong though. I like the hint of a ship in a show; I don’t like a full blown romance. It just felt so out of character for both of them, but I guess I can see where this stressful situation would throw them together.

It was lovely to see Nathan Fillion (from Firefly!) guest star on another sci-fi(ish) show.

I really like that Jack seems to be marching to the beat of his own drum. He’s not giving into these Others, even if at times he acts like he is. I loved his disappointment in Kate at falling for the Others’ plan. I loved him slicing open Ben’s kidney to get what he wants. I don’t like the fact that he seems perfectly willing to sacrifice Sawyer just because Kate loves him. But as long as Sawyer survives (I saw him running with Kate in the previews for the spring season!) I couldn’t care less what Jack’s opinion of him is.

I felt the tiny little scene with Locke could have waited for another episode (but I suppose then we would have had 5 more minutes of Kate and Sawyer making out, so maybe it was a good thing). I guess Locke’s figured out why Eko had to die from the message on his Jesus stick, so we’ll see where that goes in February.

I think when Ben made the promise to Jack to get him off the island he was being very literal. He’s not on the main island, so it would be easy to promise him escape from the Hydra station’s island and remain true to that promise by dumping him back onto his old island.

Why does that Pickett guy hate Sawyer so much? It seems it has something to do with Sawyer’s love for Kate and Pickett’s love for Colleen, killed by Sun. Does he simply hate Sawyer because he’s one of Them or for a different, yet to be disclosed reason?

Why is it that the Others still can’t seem to understand why the Losties are afraid of and hostile toward them!?

Kate’s flashback: Meh. Was there anything particularly interesting about it I missed? We already knew she was married at some point. And okay, she loved someone, but we also knew she was capable of that with the toy airplane dude. Remember when flashbacks actually meant something and were tied into the mystery of the island? That was nice.

What did y’all think of last night’s episode? What are you going to do during the break? What answers do you really hope they give in the spring half of the season?

So sometime between John’s conversation with Jack at the hospital and Locke’s funeral, Jack must have:
- grown scary man beard
- become completely dependent…

I’ve been updating on Facebook so much, I’m not sure I’ve even mentioned this yet. My anatomy scan is scheduled for next Thursday. I’m still…

I said I wasn’t going to but I watched. It was a decent episode but to pull it off until FEBRUARY? I definitely won’t care by then.

I think maybe the point of the flashback was to show that every time Kate falls in love she has to run off and leave him, but now the marshall is dead, she’s considered dead (we assume), and she’s in love again but she doesn’t have to leave him.

I nearly peed myself when it looked like Sawyer might be killed off. I didn’t think he would but I wouldn’t have put it past JJ either.

I am really ticked off about this 13 week hiatus. Augh.
