So I know I said I didn’t want to use LJ to continue writing, but more and more I’m finding it has all I need. The filters are perfect. The communities are great. I don’t have to worry about design, either which is a major plus for me as more and more I just hate designing.
I got a paid account again, so we’ll see how it goes. My major gripe with LJ was that the archives were a bit difficult to navigate, but I think that was just the template I was using before.
I’m going to have to go through my friends list and filters and redo all that. It probably would have been easier to set up a new account and start over, but that comes with its own set of pains. We’ll see how this works.

LJ can get addictive especially because of all the communities and such.
The communities and being able to read all my favorites in one place are what keep drawing me back too.
The filters and communities make my organized little heart sing. I don’t seem to write at all right now, but when I do it’s just so much easier to use LJ. I have one of the desktop clients, too, so it’s even more of a breeze.
Yeah, like losing your kick-ass username!
